We have worked with these growers for 12 years now and their cocoa is excellent!

Here in Mudgee, we roast, grind, conch and temper the cocoa into lively and beautiful chocolate.”

In the spirit of reconciliation Spencer Cocoa acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.

All chocolate we make is free from gluten, nut and soy. Our dark chocolate is dairy free (vegan friendly).

Tasting Notes: Flavours of tropical fruits, tobacco, toffee, caramel and malt. Well-balanced bitterness, sweetness and tartness. Aromatic hints of rosewood, coffee and cherry.

Milk Chocolate 42% cocoa - 100g bar

Tasting Notes: Relatively dark for a milk chocolate with a very pleasant (and moreish!) cocoa character. Flavours of caramel, toffee and vanilla.

White Chocolate 33% cocoa - 100g bar

This bar of chocolate is made using the wonderfully aromatic, natural cocoa butter pressed from Bougainville beans. We've been visiting these growers for several years now as part of the Annual Bougainville Chocolate Festival. This bar represents the hard work of the cocoa growers... plus a little bit of chocolate-making magic here in Mudgee.

Drinking Chocolate 72% Dark - 300g

Our drinking chocolate is made from slabs of our 72% dark chocolate, ground into an easy-to-melt crumb. So it is a true drinking chocolate (not cocoa powder based)!

A deeply satisfying way to experience the unique and complex flavour of our single origin chocolate.

2-3 tablespoons whisked into 200ml hot milk of choice (so it’s vegan friendly). Or go all out with a decadent European style hot chocolate, recipe here.
